What happens when we die?
Steve Clarke, uses his extra-ordinary lived experience to ask the biggest question of all.
Crazy really that the only thing that we all have to go through is the very thing we rarely discuss – until we have to – and at that point we are uniquely ill-equipped to do so.
Steve runs a six monthly online session as part of the Death Cafe movement which provides a safe place to discuss any issue related to the subject of death and uses that to explore how should think about, plan for and discuss death.
Using anecdotal vox-pops from research in 2024 Steve discovers – unsurprisingly that nobody knows what happens when we die but those who work closest with people at the actual point of death have a message which should help us all.
Spoiler alert we shouldn’t spend too much of our life worrying about death.
And please don’t be put off, the show has a light but respectful touch and includes music and poetry and probably something we don;’t even know about yet – so come along and if you don’t enjoy it, want to leave early or just feel you’ve wasted your evening then we will refund your ticket without any question!
