Steve woke up one day and realised that most of his world view was completely wrong.
The things he had taken for granted for 60 years suddenly dissolved and left him with some BIG questions
Why is it that some people have an easy life and roll from one success to another whilst others seem blighted by crisis after crisis and struggle to survive on a daily basis?
By his own admission Steve was born into ultimate privilege but even so he asks why have things generally worked out for him – even at the last minute when he has got himself into a scrape through his own ineptitude?
Recounting some of the more inexplicable anecdotes of his life – and inviting others from those attending – Steve explores how where we are born is one of the most influential factors in our life outcomes.This show takes place on the eve of the American presidential election – the outcome of which will likely have quite an impact on individual lives around the world. Steve considers our place in a seemingly chaotic and what we can do to improve the future. Spoiler alert – it all has to do with the connections we have with our fellow human beings and, amongst other things he concludes that increasing our contact with people who are very different from ourselves is the way forward.
