Who am I and where did I come from?
Have you ever wondered what it is all about – this life, who we are and what on earth (literally) we are supposed to be doing about it.
Are we – human beings – smarter than other animals or intrinsically different?
Can we, should we spend our time pursuing some sort of goal and if so what should that goal be?
Part monologue, part poetry and music with contributions from people inside and outside the venue, odyssey: Birth, promises to be an unforgettable experience

Have you ever wondered what it is all about – this life, who we are and what on earth (literally) we are supposed to be doing about it?
Are we – human beings – smarter than other animals or intrinsically different?
Can we, should we spend our time pursuing some sort of goal and if so what should that goal be?

Whatever the answers to these questions it all started some 13 billion years ago with a BIG BANG – or did it?
Perhaps in fact it was 4,000 years ago with the creative hand of an all powerful God, or is it in a continual cycle of creation sustenance and destruction or maybe nothing has any beginning or any end and all just goes round and round for ever.

Forgetting the universe – we have a good idea of when we began – or at least our mother does but have you ever considered the chances of you – or me actually being born?
They are tiny tiny tiny but does this mean we are extra extra special or just ever-so ever-so insignificant!

Spoiler alert

odyssey: BIRTH won’t provide any definitive answers but will consider some of the science behind the implausibility our existence as well as canvassing your views and opinions.
This first show is a springboard to our journey through life to it’s conclusion.

Although part of the Birth/Life/Death Odyssey trilogy BIRTH stands alone and can be enjoyed without attending the others.
